The pre-owned Agilent 83711B delivers fully synthesized accuracy and analog-sweep convenience from 2 GHz to 20 GHz in a single 3-U chassis. One-kilohertz tuning --down to 1 Hz with the fractional-N option--makes it a crystal-clean local oscillator, while its -80 dBc/Hz phase-noise floor keeps mixer and phase-noise measurements honest. Fitted with the 110 dB electronic step attenuator, it supplies a calibrated +13 dBm to -110 dBm span for PA compression, receiver sensitivity and EMC tasks without external pads.

Fast band switching, list sweeps and SCPI/LAN control let the generator plug straight into automated R & D or production benches, giving Keysight-grade signal purity and long-term serviceability at a fraction of new-instrument cost.
