The pre-owned Agilent 83712B pairs fully synthesized frequency accuracy with analog-sweep convenience, spanning 10 MHz to 20 GHz in a single 3-U chassis. One-kilohertz tuning steps --or 1 Hz with the fractional-N Option 008--let you drop crystal-clean local oscillators or execute fine scalar sweeps, while -80 dBc/Hz phase-noise performance preserves mixer and noise-figure margins.
Fitted with the 110 dB step attenuator, the generator offers a calibrated +13 dBm to -110 dBm span for PA compression, receiver sensitivity and EMC tasks, and harmonics stay at least 55 dB below the carrier to minimize spurs. Fast band-to-band switching, SCPI/LAN automation and ISO-17025 calibration allow the 83712B to slot directly into R&D or production benches--delivering Keysight-grade signal purity and long-term serviceability at a fraction of new-instrument cost.
