The pre-owned Agilent 8485A extends average-power measurements from 50 MHz to 26.5 GHz with a wide -30 dBm to +20 dBm span and better than ±1 % linearity, so a single sensor covers everything from L-band radios to Ku-band mixers without range-switch glitches. Its true-RMS thermocouple element yields accurate results on any modulation format, while the low-SWR 3.5 mm Type-N-equivalent interface keeps mismatch uncertainty tight. Although it predates EEPROM-equipped probes, the 8485A plugs directly into modern Keysight EPM, EPM-P and P-Series meters--as well as legacy 43x/436/437/438 frames--protecting existing test code and accessories. Refurbished sensors ship ISO-17025-calibrated, providing Keysight-grade accuracy, stability and long-term serviceability at a fraction of new-sensor cost.
