The pre-owned R &S FSV40 extends fundamental-mixing spectrum and vector-signal analysis from 10 Hz up to 40 GHz, removing the need for external harmonic mixers when verifying Ku- and Ka-band devices. Although the built-in demodulation path is 10 MHz wide, it remains ideal for spur hunting, ACPR/EVM checks and phase-noise characterization thanks to a −106 dBc/Hz noise floor and a typical −154 dBm DANL with trace averaging.
Field-upgradeable tracking-generator, pre-amplifier and LO/IF options accommodate scalar network tests and external down-conversion. Supplied fully tested, freshly calibrated and firmware-current, this second-hand instrument ships immediately -- delivering proven Rohde & Schwarz precision and automation via LAN/GPIB at a fraction of new-unit cost.
